Grupo Biobras was created in Brazil by executives with vast experience in the ethanol, sugar and commodity markets. In the last few years the corporation has distributed high quality ethanol for several uses through the worldwide logistical chain of the group as well increasing its participation in the environmental business areas.
In 2006, Grupo Biobras was created with the intention of representing ethanol plants and sugar mills in Brazil with a focus on domestic and foreign market sales. With dedication, professionalism and transparency, today the group has a range of 20 suppliers with excellence in quality, reliability and profitability for its customers.
In 2008, with know-how acquired, the company Grupo Trading was created. A need to a trading company was the goal of Grupo Biobras to meet the growing demands of its customers, providing services, consultancy and sales to national and international companies. Biobras Trading is specialize in selling ethanol fuel, industrial and food grade alcohol, biodiesel, sugar, crude glycerin, carnauba wax, soybean oil, among other products.
In 2011 Grupo Biobras expanded its business in areas related to the environment, creating the company BCM Ambiental, which operates in wind farm and solar power plant projects, water treatments (industrial and domestic effluents), using the latest biotechnology available.
We define ourselves as a company committed to quality and in agreement with our strategy we have evolved constantly improving in all the fields of our activity. Since our beginnings we have accomplished a clear objective: a formation of a business group who is a leader in what we are intent to do and a provider of highest quality products and services. Our priority is to meet our client's needs, for which we present all the technical and human resources necessary at every moment.
Grupo Biobras is a privately held company, and has as its main field activity the commercialization of sugar and ethanol. Together with its supplier chain, have a business model in the sugarcane industry that allows the management of all the links in the sugar and ethanol industry. From monitoring the crop in the field until the final client, Grupo Biobras participates on the stages of storage, transportation and marketing.
